Join Brandon and Chelsea for a Hapé Circle to learn about the magical qualities and benefits of Hapé, and sample a few different kinds. Hapé (pronounced “Ha-peh”) is a medicinal snuff made from a mixture of tree ash, tobacco, herbs, spices, bark, roots, flowers, etc., which is blown into both nostrils through a small tube like pipe called a Tepi or Kuripe. Hapé is widely used among many different tribes throughout Brazil and Peru for its mystical and healing qualities. There are many different varieties, each with unique effects on the body, emotions, and spirit. During the circle, we will explain the various physical benefits of different kinds of Hapé, as well as its effects mentally and spiritually.
You may bring your own Kuripe or Tepi.
We recommend refraining from eating an hour prior to the class.
